About the author

Meet Glory

Glory Stalvey is a Southern author and storyteller. Long before publishing books, she used stories to connect with people as a seasoned public speaker and during more than twenty years of ministry. Her lived experiences of marriage, motherhood, leadership, friendship, joy, loss, and starting again shaped the compassion, humor, faith, and honesty in her writing.

She is the author of the Three Oaks Mysteries for young readers, the women’s fiction novels The Life Still Before Us and The Christmas We Kept, and Gloryisms, a collection of original words for life’s familiar moments. Whether she is writing a mystery, an adult novel, or a word that did not exist until she needed it, Glory’s work returns to family, courage, connection, and the belief that there is always more life waiting to be lived.

Glory and her husband, Tim, have three grown children and a beloved Bernedoodle named Penny. They live in the North Georgia mountains and spend part of each year near Florida’s Gulf Coast. Glory is happiest with family, enjoying the beauty of both places, and imagining the next story waiting to be told.

Stories can hold the mysteries we chase, the people we love, and the hope that keeps calling us forward.
